WHAT IS BACKmagic?

BACKmagic  is a product from the UGro BENEFITS line that can be used as both a probiotic and a prebiotic. It is a stabilized biological system of bacterial spores of the genus Bacillus. It is a biotechnological product that does not contain added enzymes, it contains microorganisms carefully selected for their ability to produce a variety of enzymes and other active ingredients (phytohormones, substances that inhibit phytopathogenic microorganisms).

HOW IS BACKmagic USED?

We can use BACKmagic for two different purposes:

• As a prebiotic: If our intention is to start a crop or reuse a substrate. BACKmagic will help condition the soil or substrate before planting, removing organic matter and helping to release nutrients. The dosage in this case would be 2 ml of product per liter of water.
• As a Probiotic: regular use in the growing cycle provides extensive benefits to plants due to its action on the substrate and on the plant itself and its roots. The recommended dosage in this case would be 0.5 ml per liter of irrigation solution.

HOW DOES BACKmagic WORK?

Depending on the substrate where BACKmagic is applied, be it peat, organic planting substrates, crop residues, coconut fiber, insoluble minerals, among others, the microorganisms present in BACKmagic will produce a group of enzymes that favors the absorption of nutrients and therefore. This leads to the healthy growth of agricultural crops, as well as the elimination of dead roots and the dissociation of excess salts present in the substrate.

WHAT IS THE COMPOSITION OF BACKmagic?

While it is true that BACKmagic produces enzymes when applied to the culture medium, BACKmagic are not bottled enzymes. In this product we find:

• Bacillus subtilis:
  • Antibiotic action
  • Generates 8 different enzymes, including some with a fungicidal function and others that decompose organic matter or release nutrients from the soil.
• Bacillus licheniformis:
  • Nitrogen fixation
  • Generates 2 different enzymes
  • Antibiotic action
• Bacillus pumilus:
  • Prevents the germination of rhizoctonia and fusarium spores
• Bacillus megaterium:
  • Endophilic bacteria that fixes nitrogen
  • Enzyme production
  • Produces vitamin B12
  • Fungicidal and antiviral action
• Bacillus amyloquefaciens:
  • Antibiotic and fungicidal action
  • Improves root tolerance to salt stress
  • Growth-promoting Rhizobacteria with the ability to rapidly colonize roots.

WHAT EFFECT DOES BACKmagic PRODUCE ON THE SUBSTRATE AND THE PLANTS?

BACKmagic helps to reduce the contribution of mineral fertilizers depending on the organic matter content of the soil and transforms proteins into polypeptides and soluble amino acids that can be assimilated by plants, promotes gibberellic precursors and mobilizes nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus retained in the soil, being able to reduce its contribution by approximately 20%, helping fruit set and fattening.

In addition, BACKmagic promotes the decomposition of organic matter. It has an enzymatic hydrolysis action on organic compounds present in the soil and releases gibberellin precursors with positive effects on the plant and keeps irrigation facilities clean for longer, slowing down obstructions caused by organic matter.
